“I don’t know whether to scream or to cry,” Unicef spokesperson James Elder has said in a video on his social media where he condemned the killing of children in Gaza and Lebanon urging people to speak up against those in power. While speaking on his experience in Gaza, he stated that the same “horrors” are being played out again in Lebanon. In a on X, he stated, “Lebanon: hundreds of children killed. Gaza: tens of thousands of children killed & wounded. Response from those with power to prevent the carnage: Zero.”
