KARACHI: A suspected criminal was shot dead in an alleged encounter along Malir Expressway within the remit of the Sharafi Goth police station on Tuesday. Police identified the killed suspect as Barkat Ali and claimed to have recovered one pistol and snatched gold rings from his possession. A police spokesperson said that the killed suspect was a “most wanted” criminal. He recently snatched the pistol, seized from his custody, from a policeman during a robbery, he added.
