Two dead, seven injured as bus overturns

MIANWALI: A passenger bus traveling from Quetta to Islamabad overturned on the CPEC route near Kundal Interchange in Isakhel on Tuesday, killing two and injuring seven. According to Rescue 1122, the injured and deceased were retrieved from the overturned bus and shifted to Isakhel THQ Hospital. The deceased were identified as Zahir Gul from Lakki Marwat and Abdul Wadood from Afghanistan. The injured include Hajira (4) and Zaar Bibi from Mansehra, Ahmed Jan from Chaman, Kamran from Swabi, Namro Bibi from Mansehra, Najeebullah from Quetta and Sarwar Khan from Bannu. Rescue officials attributed the accident to the breakage of the bus’s tie rod.
