Adenzai hosts annual talent show for primary students

LOWER DIR: The annual talent competition, which concluded in Adenzai tehsil on Saturday, saw students from government primary schools showcasing their creative skills and talents. The event was organised by the local school leaders to promote community trust in public primary schools. A total of 300 students from over 50 government primary schools in Adenzai tehsil displayed their academic, cultural, and creative talent including recitation of the Holy Quran, speeches, naat, national anthem, entrepreneurial skills, and an art exhibition. The final competition attracted a large gathering of local community representatives, members of parent-teacher committees (PTCs), students, and others. Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) Sardar Badshah, officials from the education department, and members of the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) from across the district also attended the event. Position-holding students and schools were awarded trophies, shields, and cash prizes. While addressing the gathering, AAC Sardar Badshah said that he had never imagined this level of creativity and outstanding performances from students. He lauded the efforts of the school leaders, teachers and students for their devotion to ensure quality education. SEMINARIES BILL: The local chapter of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) expressed its full confidence in the leadership of Maulana Fazlur Rehman regarding his stance on the Madaris Bill. A meeting in this regard was held in Timergara, with JUI-F district emir Sirajud Din in the chair. District general secretary Maulana Mohammad Huzaifa and others spoke on the occasion. They said that obstacles were being created in the registration of seminaries. The JUI-F leaders expressed that the return of the bill by the president of Pakistan with objections was difficult to understand. They also mentioned that party workers were ready to march on Islamabad if called by the party chief regarding the matter.
