DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Anti-riot police force conducted a mock exercise at Ejaz Shaheed Police lines to deal with any untoward incident, here on Monday. According to a police spokesman, purpose of the drill was to demonstrate skills and show preparedness of the force for effectively handling unlawful gatherings in any emergency situation. He said that the mock exercise, under the supervision of District Police Officer Nasir Mehmood, dispersed a mock crowd in a professional manner. The police spokesman said that such drills enhanced the professionalism of the personnel and helped improve their ability to manage emergency situations effectively. A grand ceremony in connection with Eid Miladun Nabi was held at Gomal University’s Directorate of Students Affairs. The ceremony was attended by deans and heads of different departments, teachers, administrative officers and students in a large numbers. Renowned Naat Khawans captivated the audience with heartfelt recitation of Naats, infused with love for the Prophet (PBUH).
