On International Human Rights Day, the United Nations said that rights denied to Palestinians living in Gaza are not privileges. In a post on X, it noted the right to security, dignity, freedom from violence, and freedom from displacement. “Right to access to adequate food, water, sanitation, clothing, housing,” the UN agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) said. “The rights denied to Palestinians in Gaza are not privileges.” The group also reiterated its call for a ceasefire.
