Man dies as two-wheeler hits roadside pole

LARKANA: A motorcyclist died and his wife and toddler daughter suffered injuries when he ran into a roadside electricity pole he failed to notice due to heavy fog near a water channel on Larkana-Qambar road, 14 kilometres from here, early on Monday morning. People of the nearby villages rushed to help the family and immediately shifted them to the Trauma Centre Larkana where the bike driver identified as Naeemuah Brohi, a father of five, was pronounced dead and his wife and daughter four-year-old Firdos were admitted for treatment. Najeebullah Brohi, brother of the deceased, said that his brother was going to Ali Bakhsh Panhwar village in Qambar district along with the family to offer condolences when his motorcycle collided against a pole he failed to notice due to dense fog. The victim’s wife and daughter were stable at the hospital, he said.
