According to police and witnesses, two persons riding on motorcycles opened fire Asif Nawaz as he was coming out of his house on Wednesday. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to injuries. The news about the killing of Mr Nawaz spread like jungle fire and people from different walks of life placed his body on Rawalpindi-Kohat Road and suspended traffic for hours.
