QUETTA: Six family members, including three women, were killed and five others sustained injuries in a head-on collision between a trailer and a car on the Quetta-Zhob national highway, on Tuesday evening. Officials said the family was travelling to Zhob when a fast-moving trailer hit their car near the Badanzai area of Zhob district. “Five people, including three women, lost their lives on the spot as they received multiple injuries due to the crash’s severity,” the police said. Six other persons traveling in the vehicle suffered injuries. Police and officials of the local administration rushed to the accident site and shifted the bodies and injured to Zhob district hospital. “We received five bodies and six injured in the trauma centre. Later, an 11-year-old boy died during treatment, taking the death toll to six,” said doctors at the district hospital.
