Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has regretted the UN Security Council’s inability to reach a consensus on a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, . It comes after during last night’s vote, the United States was the only one out of the UNSC’s 15 members to use its veto powers to vote against the ceasefire resolution.
