Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle is said to be resisting Prince Harry's plea to make amends with the Duke's royal relatives. The Duchess of Sussex was reportedly opposing the Duke's idea to support the royal family at their difficult time, leaving him in tears by showing no interest to his emotional plea. The former star, who kicked of 2025 by returning to social media with her separate Instagram handle, was reportedly "absolutely against" an offer the Duke of Sussex made to the royal family last year to help them in their time of need. It came when King Charles revealed his cancer diagnoses in February. The monarch reportedly shared the horrific news with his family, including Prince Harry in America, before the news broke worldwide. It was reported that Harry, who stepped back as senior royal in 2020 and relocated to the US, was willing to return to a temporary royal role to support his father during this time even though the relationship between him and the royal family was at its worst due to Harry and Meghan's claims about senior royals. A royal author claimed that the offer was not only refused by the Palace but also disliked by his wife Meghan, who was reluctant to return to the royal fold. Tom Quinn told the at the time that King Charles III's youngest son Harry made the offer "safe in the knowledge it would be rejected" and he wouldn't have to return. The royal expert continued: "Harry knows he will never be allowed to be a permanent part-time working royal staying six months in the States and then six months in the UK." "The family no longer trust him and, besides, Meghan is absolutely against it. There is far too much bad blood now for it to be even a remote possibility," he continued. Now, the claims seems to be correct as Meghan has now taken a big initiative about her future by returning to social media amid speculations.
