Former presidential candidate and Donald Trump supporter Vivek Ramaswamy said Trump’s campaign has attracted greater attention from groups who have historically voted Democrat, including the Black vote, Hispanics and Gen Z, . Ramaswamy said that Gen Z are motivated by wanting to stay out of foreign conflicts and avoid “World War 3,” grow the economy and bring down housing costs which he said were the issues that mattered most to young Americans. “Combine that with the rising costs. What we’ve seen over the last several years — and this is a hard fact — is that prices have gone up and wages have not kept up,” Ramaswamy said.
