MUZAFFARGARH: Two labourers from the Shehr Sultan area of Muzaffargarh, who were killed in Balochistan’s Ziarat district on Thursday, were laid to rest in their native town on Saturday. The victims, identified as Muhammad Parvez and Muhammad Chandi, were reportedly shot dead by unidentified assailants. According to their families, the labourers had been working in Balochistan for several years, primarily involved in packing apple boxes during the harvest season. The bodies were shifted to Shehr Sultan for burial, with arrangements facilitated by the government. A family member of the deceased told this correspondent that the labourers, belonging to the Bullah family, had travelled to Balochistan for their seasonal work, as they did every year, but were brutally killed. The bereaved families have appealed for justice and stronger security measures for workers travelling to other provinces for employment.
