RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi City Traffic Police for the first time have introduced a “driving simulator” for learners’ training at their driving school in Rawalpindi. The simulator with necessary components such as gear stick, clutch plate, accelerator, steering wheel and footbrake allows amateur drivers to immerse themselves in a complete road-driving experience, Chief Traffic Officer Beenish Fatima said while launching it on Friday. A spokesperson for the CTP said the usage of modern technology was being ensured to provide the best driving training to the citizens. Through the driving simulator, those learning to drive will be able to practice driving in different situations without any danger, he said, adding that this modern machine will not only provide awareness of traffic rules but will also provide training on correct responses in emergency situations.
