QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said the PPP is a symbol of constitutional supremacy and the survival of democracy, a party that has never compromised on these principles. He highlighted the sacrifices made by the PPP leadership, who laid down their lives along with hundreds of party workers. Speaking at the 57th Foundation Day ceremony of the PPP on Saturday night, CM Bugti also discussed the government’s ongoing efforts for systemic change, good governance, and addressing the issues of Balochistan, assuring that visible positive transformations would take place in the near future. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari addressed the ceremony via video call. Rejecting the philosophy of resorting to arms, CM Bugti said that only the ideology of the people of Pakistan would be accepted in governing the country, adding that the PPP has always been the custodian of the people’s rights and has made great sacrifices for the preservation of democracy and democratic institutions.
