Three friends die in road accident

TAXILA: Three friends died and two others were critically injured after the car they were travelling in overturned on Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway near Hakla Interchange in the early hours of Wednesday. National Highway and Motorway Police and Rescue 1122 sources said the five friends hailing from Wah Cantonment were returning to Islamabad when the driver lost control of the vehicle near Hakla Interchange, which overturned and fell into a ditch. The deceased were identified as Huziafa Rashid, Ammad Ali and Zahid. The injured Ali Khan and Salman were shifted to hospital in critical condition. Taxila police have registered a case and launched further investigation.
