Man killed over monetary dispute

KARACHI: A man was stabbed to death over some monetary dispute at Godhra Society off Superhighway on Wednesday night, police said on Thursday. Site Superhighway Industrial Area SHO Khalid Abbasi said victim Zahoor Khan, 40, had a monetary dispute amounting to Rs30,000 with a person who could not be identified. They were sitting at a hotel, ostensibly to settle the dispute but an argument took place between them. The suspect took out a knife, stabbed Zahoor and fled. He suffered critical injuries on chest and was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
